As a long standing member of the NAACP, it is with a deep sense of gratitude that I greet you as the President of the Central Delaware NAACP Branch. Being blessed with the opportunity to also serve as the 2nd Vice President of the Delaware NAACP State Conference of Branches, I have helped guide the Association through a period of re-envisioning and revitalization to better serve our communities. By day, I serve as a Director at a State of Delaware agency and an educator at a State of Delaware college, where I am mostly responsible for leading, planning and organizing. My life's work is centered on the promotion of social justice and civil rights, and I am widely known for speaking out on issues plaguing society and exposing social constructs that perpetuate injustice. I am always looking for an opportunity to get into "good, necessary trouble" fighting for the rights of the underserved, undervalued and unprotected.
